Ringing in the New

With Chinese New Year just a few days away, there is a lot of activity in our wet markets. They have just about everything at this time and that's why I like to visit them and take photos.  There is an abundance of Mandarin oranges, pineapples, bottle gourds, flowers, plants, "kueh bakul" (right) - whatever you want for worshipping or decoration - all very nice and attractive - but unfortunately not so the prices!
But what the heck, Chinese New Year comes but once a year, so spend if you must and be happy!

Mandarin oranges by the dozen

Mini pumpkins

Lovely pineapples, red variety

MAY YOU ALL BE BLESSED WITH A BOUNTIFUL NEW YEAR!
