Here's one cat who probably doesn't know the taste of fish! She lives in a temple near my home and the nuns there have adopted her since she strayed into their fold some time ago. She lives on rice and vegetables everyday and seems to be quite happy and contented. The nuns are kind to her and she must like the chanting that goes on in the temple daily!
"Veggie Cat" as I have nicknamed her wears a small bell round her neck and is very pretty with black and orange-brown spots on a white body. I noticed that there is another of her species living in the temple but they don't appear to get on too well. They ignore each other and go their separate ways.
V.C. doesn't often make herself available for a photo session. I have in the past been to the temple many times but was unable to find her anywhere. Very tricky lady she is.
Today, being a wet day, I found V.C. indoors under one of the tables in the dining room. She looked rather bored and in fact yawned when I snapped her. I trailed her to the kitchen and to the small garden outside and took more snaps.
The rain eventually stopped and I left her sitting blissfully in the weak sunshine. It was after I arrived home that I remembered that I should have made an appointment with her for another photo session.....
