Poh Chye's Wedding

December has been a month for birthday dinners and weddings, the latest being cousin Poh Chye's wedding on 19th December. The tea ceremony and dinner were held at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel, Persiaran Gurney. It was an all-in-the-family dinner and it was nice to meet up with relatives whom we had not seen for some time. The bride wore a simple white evening gown which suited her very nicely and she and Poh Chye make a good looking couple. I was also impressed by the beautiful kebayas worn by some of the ladies.

This is cousin Chuan who flew in all the way from London to attend the wedding.

We ate to the music provided by an organist who played many favourites of yester year.

We wish Poh Chye and Sook Fun a happy married life. Incidentally, Poh Chye's a qualified lawyer and he will only be too pleased to give any legal advice - at a fee, of course.
