I was reminded of my younger days when I saw this "Bedak Sejuk" on sale at a sundry shop. This "cold powder" (literally translated) was very popular in the old days as it was supposed to be cooling for the skin, helps control oil and so gets rid of pimples and blemishes. As a teenager, I had a problem skin and so used it often. Made from rice powder, it is quite an effective face mask and is way cheaper than those masks you get in the beauty shops. After applying on the face, it dries up very quickly and voila, you have a white face that looks like a ghost! No harm in trying it as it doesn't dry the skin!
