I recently came across this picture in a local newspaper. It had won RM50 in a Thumbnails competition. It shows chickens wrapped and tied up in newspaper ready to be transported to the market.
I don't know about the photographer but I felt quite sorry for the chickens. They looked so sweet and innocent wrapped up as they were. Little did they know that they were destined for the pot.....

The poor creatures would of course have made their way to the dinner table by now but I prefer to think that they are strutting about happily in God's beautiful gardens and waking up the angels every morning with their cock-a-doodle-doo!
