Yesterday evening, when I was walking in my garden, I thought I smelt something fragrant. I took a closer look and found to my astonishment that the scent came from the hedge. It is blooming with little white flowers!As far as I can remember, the hedge has never bloomed since we moved here some twenty years ago and I am truly amazed. Unfortunately it rained quite heavily this morning and most of the flowers have tumbled to the ground. The flowers are small and white with yellow stamens and the scent they exude is similar to jasmine. I am so thrilled! My orchids are also blooming, my payaya trees have shot up, my chillies are multiplying .....my garden is waking up!
