L to R: Popia, Cuttlefish with Kangkong and Fried Mee
I was looking forward to having my old favourites - Popia and Cuttlefish with Kangkong - for dinner last night at a food court. The cuttlefish and sauce were good but I was disappointed with the Popia. It lacked taste - mainly turnip inside. The side dish of fried mee with prawn fritters wasn't too bad. We also had a bowl of "mee sua" (rice vermicelli) with crab meat (not shown). All in all, our dinner cost us around RM35. Expensive? We think so.
