Custard Buns




I came across these lovely custard buns at a vegetarian outlet recently.  They looked so tempting that I couldn't resist buying one to try.  I was told that the buns were made from a Hong Kong recipe.  Although there is a reasonable amount of custard inside the bun, I think I prefer the savoury ones ("char siew pow"). Still, it was a good item for my tea that day!
