These fluffy steamed rice cakes (Wah Ko Kueh) were a great favourite with me during my schooldays and they still are! Pa used to buy them from the market and bring them home for breakfast. The pink and yellow ones were always my favourite! They are usually eaten with shredded coconut but I prefer them plain. Nowadays they don't make them so often and I come across them in the market only once in a while. They also don't make them so colourful any more (cutting costs, I guess)!
