There's always so much to see at the P.T. market when Chinese New Year comes around. There's practically everything for those who wish to buy for worship, for decoration, for cooking, whatever! This year I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the road leading to the market decorated with large sprigs of pink cherry blossoms and red banners! What a pretty sight it was!
In the market, there were of course many stalls selling new year prayer paraphernalia such as jossticks, pineapples, bottle gourds, pomelos, and colourful new year decorations and flowers. Prices are naturally stiffer, as they always are during festive time but people still buy!
