Here's a delightful dessert for a hot day. Tee Nya Kuih, very popular in Penang, is traditionally made from rice flour and taken with palm sugar syrup (Gula Melaka). It's soft and smooth and with its attractive yellow and green colouring, it is hard to resist. Some people abhor the use of Borax in making it but without it, you wont get the "springy" effect. I guess a little of it won't kill you. To Tee Nya Kuih fans, it's worth dying for! Enjoy some today!
